BNI has been a great fit for our company. Not long after joining, I have met a number of great people, and received many great referrals. The best referral for me coming from BNI was for a landscaping job all the way up in Wales, MA. It is a bit of a distance from our shop which is located in Glastonbury, CT, but the customer couldn't get anybody to come out to their house because it was so out of the way. The referral originated from another member of my group. The job turned out to be quite extensive and well worth the trip up. This one job alone has paid for my membership multiple times. Without BNI, we would've never come across a project like this.

I own a Minuteman Press print shop in Rocky Hill and feel that joining this BNI chapter almost a year ago was money well spent. The business that I was able to receive from the group in the first couple of weeks paid for my membership fee. Clearly that made me feel good about my decision and the leads, referrals and business has continued allowing us to grow our business in spite of tough economic times. I strongly encourage anyone who thinks that networking doesn't work or who is considering joining a network group to come and visit our group before making a final decision either way.
